4. PRIVACY

Your privacy is very important to us and we comply with the Data Protection Act 2018. We will use the information you supply to provide you with any products or services you have requested. Your personal information will not be shared with any organisation other than those directly involved in delivering the services you have requested for example, we may need to contact your prescriber regarding any prescription queries. Your contact details will be provided to delivery couriers to ensure an efficient and delivery.

5. USE OF OUR WEBSITE

PHP own the intellectual property rights for the use of our website, portals and applications including all materials unless stated. You may print pages from our website, portals and applications for personal use and own business use subject to the following restrictions.

You are restricted from the following:

This would include blocking computers using your IP address and we reserve the right to contact your internet service provider to request that they block your access to our website, portals and applications.

6. DELIVERY

All deliveries are made via third party courier companies, for this reason once an order has been dispatched from the pharmacy, we must be made aware of any issues or changes made to deliveries.
Some deliveries may require a signature on receipt. Personal Homecare Pharmacy will arrange a suitable delivery date with the customer at the time the order is placed. The order will be processed and delivery will be arranged on the agreed date to the address specified by the customer.
The customer must ensure that they or an authorised person are available to accept delivery of the parcel on the date and address agreed within the delivery window, if delivering to a third party address we recommend prior permission be taken from the addressee.
Deliveries to large institutions will be delivered to a main reception or mailing room prior to internal distribution therefore we must recommend against delivering to these address types.
If damages or delays are experienced due to the internal distribution process of these delivery types, we cannot be held responsible. Due to issues with parcels being lost, we will not be able to deliver to certain institutions including, but not limited to:

  • Schools with more than one reception
  • Hospitals
  • Military Bases
  • Universities
  • Pharmacies (unless the Pharmacy contact us directly confirming the recipient’s name and the authorised person who will sign for the parcel)

If any changes are made by the customer to the delivery date or address after this time directly with the courier company Personal Homecare Pharmacy will not be responsible for any delays or inconveniences which may be caused. We strongly advise that no changes are made to the delivery by the customer with the courier company. If such circumstances do occur, please contact our customer services representatives who will assist.
If a delivery has not been received within the time frame advised by Personal Homecare Pharmacy, please contact a member of the team at your earliest, who will then be able to assist with locating the delivery.
Please be aware that although most UK orders are sent via a next day delivery service, we cannot always guarantee that delivery will be made the next day. Personal Homecare Pharmacy will not be responsible for any delays caused due to adverse weather conditions. Deliveries are made Tuesday-Friday. Monday and Saturday deliveries may be available upon request.

7. STORAGE

Most medications have special storage requirements. It is the responsibility of the customer to open and check all storage instructions for the medications as soon as the order has been received.
Certain packaging and materials will be used to keep fridge items cool and within the recommended guidelines provided by the manufacturer, validated data on the packaging used can be provided if requested.
As with all medications, you should always read the label of any products you purchase so you may ascertain how to store each item and also any risks associated. Please consult your doctor before taking medications you have not had previously and similarly if you experience any major side effects.

8. ERRORS/CLAIMS

On receipt of your order you should check the contents immediately. If you have any queries regarding the contents or feel there may be an error with your order you must contact a member of our team immediately. If any of the contents are damaged or missing we must be informed of this within 24 hours from receipt of your order. Any claims made after this time may be dismissed.
Personal Homecare Pharmacy will not accept returns or process any refunds for prescription medications unless these have been sent to you in error.

9. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

Cancellations can only be made if the order has not yet been processed. Once an order has been dispatched from our Pharmacy it can no longer be cancelled.
If Personal Homecare Pharmacy have ordered a non-stocked prescription item to fulfil your order and you decide to cancel this, you will be required to pay for the item in full if it cannot be returned to the supplier.

Unfortunately, you cannot return prescription medicines, or anything that has a hygiene seal that has been broken. You have the right to reasonably inspect your items as you would in a shop, but you cannot return items that you have used, unless you are returning them because they are damaged or faulty.

10. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Personal Homecare Pharmacy may provide links on this site to third party websites. These links are provided for information purposes only and we have no control over their contents. Personal Homecare Pharmacy has no liability over these websites and we strongly advise that you read the terms and conditions to these sites before making any purchases with them.

11. FEEDBACK/COMPLAINTS

At Personal Homecare Pharmacy we aim to provide high standards of service to our customers, and we appreciate that there may be times where you want to share your feedback, suggestions or complaints.

We may bring court proceedings for an injunction or any similar relief in the courts of any jurisdiction to restrain or prevent any breach of these terms by you.
